For Savage families

Close to Savage, close to family.

Savage is just west of Burnsville, across the line into Scott County. From Savage City Hall on McColl Drive, our home is about 6.3 miles, roughly 13 minutes by car, an easy trip for visits, appointments and holidays.

For a Savage family, that means a parent can move somewhere with help around the clock without moving away. Church, friends, the grocery store and the grandkids’ games all stay within a short drive.

About the area

Savage, a short drive west.

Savage still celebrates Dan Patch, the famous harness-racing horse who trained here in the early 1900s, and his banners line the streets. It is a town of creeks and parks: the Credit River winds through Hidden Valley Park, and Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve covers the wooded hills to the south.

Housing ranges from older homes near downtown Savage to newer subdivisions and townhomes farther south. Highway 13 and County Road 42 connect it to Burnsville, so the drive to our door is simple.
